We’re excited that our January-February fundraising partner is Little Angel’s Dog Rescue in St. David, AZ. Little Angel’s is a 501c3 dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia at high kill shelters, orphaned moms and pups, abandoned pups, medical cases such as dogs with broken legs, ringworm, dog fights, etc. Their mission is to promote the well-being of dogs through foster and adoption. Here’s Ellie’s story:
Ellie is a 3 to 4-year-old terrier mix. She came to Little Angels at the end of October 2025, as a wandering stray. She was full-term pregnant had her pups. When we took Ellie for her spay, we learned that she had tick fever, so she’s been on medication for a number of months. If a subsequent check of her blood levels are good, she’ll be spayed and get ready for adoption. Otherwise we will need do another round of medication.
