We’re excited that our January-February fundraising partner is Little Angel’s Dog Rescue in St. David, AZ. Little Angel’s is a 501c3 dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia at high kill shelters, orphaned moms and pups, abandoned pups, medical cases such as dogs with broken legs, ringworm, dog fights, etc. Their mission is to promote the well-being of dogs through foster and adoption.
Little Angel’s recently rescued a sweet dog that had been trapped in the Phoenix area by the Humane Animal Rescue and Trapping Team (HARTT). This dog was full term pregnant when Little Angel’s took her. Given the name Hope, she had her babies 3 days after being trapped. It seemed that Hope was waiting to feel safe before having her litter, which she finally did in the care of Little Angel’s. Understandably, it took Hope a few weeks to warm up and fully trust people.
