Pets are given sanctuary until they find a forever home or hospice care for the unadoptable. Cherished Tails is a 501(3), all volunteer, foster based rescue group. Primrose came to Cherished Tails from Arizona Humane Society where she was at risk of euthanasia due to a broken pelvis and possibly significant orthopedic issues. Primrose was hardly walking at the time, and she needed to stay on crate rest for a few weeks. Within a couple of
weeks of arriving at our rescue, we were surprised that Primrose was up on her feet and walking pretty normally. We made an appointment at the SW Specialty Surgical Center and based on her records and images they were expecting the worst for this sweet girl. Imagine their surprise when she got in for her ortho consult and she was almost completely healed without additional intervention!
Her foster mom loves her to the moon and has given her excellent care for the past 3-1/2 months and Primrose is finally ready for her big day…adoption day! It will definitely be bittersweet 
for her foster mom, but she knows that it’s time for Primrose to find her own home so she can foster others who need her.
