For the month of April 2013, Beading Divas to the Rescue is proud to be selling bracelets for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. They are also the random drawing winner of Bead Drive 2013. Congratulations!
The Divas chose the HSSA’s Second Chance Fund for bracelet sales. This special Fund is designated to cover the cost of care for animals with extraordinary needs, including unfortunately, common occurrences of abuse, special medical needs and instances of domestic violence.
Here is a story of Taco Bell who is currently benefiting from the Second Chance Fund. Tiny Taco Bell is on the mend after months of intensive care. This mighty 4-pound Chihuahua arrived at the HSSA in need of emergency surgery to remove bladder stones and to expand his partially collapsed esophagus. After four successful surgeries, Taco Bell is finally able to eat on his own, relieve himself and show off his signature dance moves.
