Beading Divas to the Rescue is excited to be fundraising with Tucson Cold Wet Noses (TCWN) during May and June. TCWN is a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue and adoption organization. They were founded by a group of local dog lovers whose goal is to rescue dogs from local shelters (PACC, MCACC, PCACC and The Arizona Humane Society) and find them their perfect homes through successful adoptions. The bulk of the dogs they rescue and later adopt out are senior dogs because they have a tougher time finding adoptive homes.
James is one of our young, adoptable dogs. He’s around 5 years old, and a Valley Fever victim, but he doesn’t require pain medication any longer and the VF seems to be in remission. One more good titer reading and we’ll be able to stop the fluconazole too! James has a super loving, dedicated personality, but can be a little slow to warm to new people and dogs. Between that and the fact that he’s a black bully breed that few people have expressed interest in adopting, he’ll probably be with us a lot longer. Thank goodness he’s a snuggle bunny.
