Beading Divas November/December fundraising partner is Pima Paws for Life, founded 12 years ago on the belief that no animal should be euthanized simply due to a treatable illness, injury, breed, or homelessness. Pima Paws for Life takes in cats and dogs in crisis in the community, many with medical issues. They’ve had a high success rate in giving these animals a chance at the quality life they deserve. It’s the best feeling to see them happy, pain free and in their forever home. These dogs and cats couldn’t have been saved without the kind support of the community.
Copper is a special needs dog, given a new lease on life. This handsome fella came to them very sick with Valley Fever, emaciated, and a spinal issue. He couldn’t walk for weeks without volunteers using a sling to help him. With medication, love and time, he has filled out and can walk & run! He is still very fearful and the Pima Paws for Life team is trying to work through it. He can stay as long as he needs to, thanks to their supporters.
You can help Pima Paws for Life rescue more deserving animals like Copper by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets. Cost per bracelet is $20. Bracelets make great gifts any time of year!
The best selection is online via Etsy but in Tucson you can also buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center, and Silver Sea Jewelry in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District (Silver Sea is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-6pm.)
