Tucson’s Cause for Canines, Beading Divas Bracelet Fundraiser

Posted in Fundraising

For August Beading Divas to the Rescue is excited to be fundraising for Tucson’s Cause for Canines. The 501c3 all foster-based organization does not discriminate against any breed, size, or medical needs. Its main goal is to save lives.

Late one night in September 2017 Tucson’s Cause for Canines got a call about a dog who had been attacked by animals on the reservation. That night is when we met Chase. We weren’t sure if he was going to make it but we had to give him a fighting chance.

The rescue took quick action and got him to one of our local vets. The estimate cost for his vet recovery was more than $7,000 and they couldn’t get started until we came up with the funds. We asked for help and from kind, animal loving people we were able to raise the money to start his vet care.

Chase had a long road ahead of him but we were going to be by him every step of the way. Every time someone would visit he would wag his tail in excitement. After a few days at the vet he was able to go into one of our foster homes to recover. Today Chase is fully recovered and was adopted into a loving home.

These are the challenges facing Tucson dog rescues. Tucson’s Cause for Canines went the extra mile and three to make life better for Chase.
