Ethel and Elmer*

For the month of March, Beading Divas to the Rescue is excited to be fundraising for No Kill PC, a 501c3 grassroots group of dedicated volunteers, advocating to save the healthy, treatable and re-habitable homeless pets and feral cats in Pima County.

NKPC is not the shelter. Follow them on Facebook

During March, this blog will share some of the programs and initiatives that NKPC implements in order to fulfill their mission. Along with addressing community discussion, they have made a noticeable impact in the number of live release animals at PACC.

BUY BRACELETS

Bracelets are one-of-a-kind, made with donated beads and every bracelet comes with a dangling paw charm to commemorate our mission of fundraising for animals. Bracelets cost $20/no tax.

Bracelet Bar

You can buy bracelets at the Fourth Avenue Street Fair on March 2, 3, 4. Look for the dazzling display in across from 330 N. 4th Avenue (hint: there’s a mermaid in the window).

You can buy bracelets in Tucson at Silver Sea Jewelry, 330 N. 4th Avenue in the Historic Fourth Avenue merchant district or Clues Unlimited Mystery Bookstore across from Winterhaven neighborhood.

Dozens of bracelets are available online via Etsy. $18 or 90% of every bracelet sale online benefits NKPC. Shipping is based on destination; we ship worldwide.

YAPPY HOUR at Noble Hops March 5th, 6 to 8 pm

Enjoy craft beer + gastropub fare on the dog-friendly patio where 10% of net sales benefit savethesaveable.com (a NKPC initiative), spotlighting the most vulnerable pets at our county shelter. Dr. Devey from Ina Road Animal Hospital will mingle and answer questions about pet health. Meet an adoptable dog or two, buy raffle tickets for an awesome three-way prize and buy Beading Divas bracelets; your wrist will thank you. Location: 1335 W. Lambert Lane, Oro Valley.

*Ethel and Elmer spent five months at the county shelter. No Kill PC took them on The Morning Blend TV Show and gave them much exposure. E & E were finally adopted together and are beloved pets.
