According to their website, Cochise Canine Rescue takes in the most not adoptable dogs on the state’s euthanasia lists.
They medicate 18 dogs a day, plus provide prescription diets for three dogs. Furthermore, Cochise Canine Rescue has two 3-legged dogs, another missing her foot due to cruelty and abuse, three blind dogs and another sighted only in one eye. They care for three totally toothless seniors and several others missing the majority of their teeth. They also have three dogs with Valley Fever, the debilitating and expensive to treat fungal infection.
So, if you didn’t buy a bracelet or three in February, you can still help them by making a direct donation, sign up to receive their newsletter or buy one of their mugs and/or tshirts. Or consider sponsoring a special needs or hospice dog. Every little bit helps.
Help spread the word about this worthy organization in Cochise County.
