Harriet is an amazing cat! As a stray with tiny kittens, she was bitten by a dog and her spine was broken. She and her babies were rescued and Harriet continued to nurse her kittens until she was able to have her spine fused by a local veterinarian who generously donated services. Harriet’s babies were bottle fed and eventually all adopted. They have grown into big, beautiful cats.
As a special needs kitty, Harriet remains at the shelter and continues to surprise people by the things she can do as a paraplegic cat.
Tucson is fortunate to have a cat shelter like Pawsitively Cats who will save cats like Harriet and give her a good quality of life.
