In just two years — Greyhound Alliance/Sunburst Project — has safely transported 2,000 ex-race dogs out of Florida to non-racing states and Canada. That’s something to celebrate!
This is the last week of bracelet sales to benefit the Greyhound Alliance/Sunburst Project. This group safely transports retired racing greyhounds from Florida Panhandle dog tracks, other Florida tracks, and Alabama to rescue groups in non-racing states and Canada. And you can buy one-of-a-kind bracelets online here (new bracelets have been added). Bracelets cost $20 + $5.50 S&H in US; outside US/varies.
