Meet Zinnea, rescued by Hermitage No Kill Cat Shelter!

Posted in Fundraising

Beading Divas to the Rescue is fundraising with Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Sanctuary during March and April. For over 50 years, the Hermitage has been dedicated to the shelter, protection, and care of homeless cats, especially those that are often not considered adoptable by other organizations. Meet Hermitage cat Zinnea:

Zinnea is almost 5 years old. She came to the Hermitage in February 2022. She’s a little more reserved than some of her roommates, but if you approach her slowly and sweetly, she’s happy to let you pet her! Zinnea often spends time in our “Room of Requirement” because it’s a little quieter in there.

Most of the time she’s curled up in one of the cozy beds, napping the day away, but if you reach out to introduce yourself she’ll roll over so you can give her belly rubs. Zinnea is a sweet girl; she just needs a proper introduction before she’s ready to receive love. She’ll start purring and making biscuits in the air once you start to pet her. You won’t be able to resist how cute her little face is when she’s happy!
“AURORA BOREALIS” is one of many bracelets in our Etsy shop!

You can help The Hermitage save more deserving felines like Zinnea by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets. Cost per bracelet is $20. Bracelets make great gifts any time of year!

The best selection is online via Etsy but in Tucson you can also buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center, and Silver Sea Jewelry in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District (Silver Sea is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-6pm.)
