Meet Petite Panther Dayne at The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter

Posted in Fundraising

Beading Divas to the Rescue is excited to be fundraising with Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Sanctuary during March and April. For over 50 years, the Hermitage has been dedicated to the shelter, protection, and care of homeless cats, especially those that are often not considered adoptable by other organizations.

Dayne is 13 1/2 years old, and a petite panther! She came to the Hermitage in May of 2021 and is a sweet and friendly girl. When not napping in a cozy bed or a warm sun puddle, she’s darting around the shelter looking for a comfy lap to sit in. Dayne is super chatty and you’ll frequently hear her before you see her running up to you for some love. You may notice her hobble a bit, and that’s because she’s missing one of her back feet! Don’t worry, she doesn’t let this bother her at all, especially when she’s blinking up at you sweetly and rubbing up against your legs.

Dayne is looking for a sweet human of her very own, someone who wants to talk about their day with her while lounging together in the sun or on the couch! Dayne is on a topical pain medication for arthritis and receives it every 4 days to help manage any pain. She also has stomatitis. The Hermitage staff is more than happy to answer any questions you may have about her care.

“FRITTILARY FROLIC” would make a fitting addition to your Spring wardrobe!

You can help The Hermitage save more deserving felines like Dayne by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets. Cost per bracelet is $20. Bracelets make great gifts any time of year!

The best selection is online via Etsy but in Tucson you can also buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center, and Silver Sea Jewelry in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District (Silver Sea is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-6pm.)
