Abandoned Pup Ollie gets a Second Chance thanks to Pima Paws for Life

Posted in Fundraising

Beading Divas November/December fundraising partner is Pima Paws for Life, founded 12 years ago on the belief that no animal should be euthanized simply due to a treatable illness, injury, breed, or homelessness. Pima Paws for Life takes in cats and dogs in crisis in the community, many with medical issues. They’ve had a high success rate in giving these animals a chance at the quality life they deserve. It’s the best feeling to see them happy, pain free and in their forever home. These dogs and cats couldn’t have been saved without the kind support of the community. Here’s one of their success stories:

Pup Ollie’s story is truly a tear jerker! We thank the heavens that he was found by a kind lady and brought to us. Ollie was found in the middle of nowhere, laying on top of his mother & siblings. He was the lone survivor, covered in ticks, cold, sick, and starving. Our president, Kim, took him home and nursed him back to health. He transformed into a playful, sweet pup who no longer felt hunger or pain. Ollie only knows love now. Adopted by a great family, we couldn’t be happier for him. Happy tails baby boy!

“RADIANCE” would make a super stocking stuffer! Find it on our Etsy site.

You can help Pima Paws for Life rescue more deserving animals like Ollie by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets. Cost per bracelet is $20. Bracelets make great gifts any time of year!

The best selection is online via Etsy but in Tucson you can also buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center, and Silver Sea Jewelry in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District (Silver Sea is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-6pm.)
