Happy October! Were continuing our partnership with HoofsnHorns Farm Sanctuary in Tucson. HoofsnHorns is a mother daughter team who have been taking in and caring for animals of all kinds for decades. Hoofsnhorns is deeply committed to helping animals who come to them in need. Abused, abandoned, orphaned, or just worn out, they open their hearts and their sanctuary and welcome animals with special needs, and those who have no other option.
Nya was born on a hog farm that raised babies for meat. Luckily for Nya, her huge mother accidentally stepped on her and severely injured her leg, so she couldn’t stay with the others. Nya came to HoofsnHorns to get medical care and recover, where she now lives a safe and happy life.
Michael needed surgery to remove a damaged, infected eye,
but his owner could not afford it. Michael was left at a veterinarian’s office, destined for euthanasia if the vet could not find someone to pay for the surgery and give him a home. The Vet called us and we said yes!
