Cherished Cows, Not-So-Sweet-Smelling Goats Call HoofsnHorns Home!

Posted in Fundraising

Beading Divas September/October fundraising partner is HoofsnHorns Farm Sanctuary in Tucson. HoofsnHorns is a mother daughter team who have been taking in and caring for animals of all kinds for decades. Their collective years of medical training and real world background (Shelby – Paramedic, Legal & Retail Management, and Sidney – medical, veterinary and business management) have given them the skills necessary for the many levels of care the animals require. Hoofsnhorns is deeply committed to helping animals who come to them in need. Abused, abandoned, orphaned, or just worn out, they open their hearts and their sanctuary and welcome animals with special needs, and those who have no other option.

Meet LuLu. She was born to a kind family who rescued her pregnant mom, Patches, from a meat ranch. Sadly, the rescuers lost their property and had no safe place for Patches and LuLu to go together where they would not be eaten. They both live at Hoofsnhorns Farm Sanctuary in peace and love. LuLu especially loves our Vet students.

Knuckles was a cute little baby goat that had a loving family until he grew up and became a slightly odorous, overly playful fella and they didn’t want him anymore. He lives at Hoofsnhorns Farm Sanctuary in a yard we call the Frat House.

“WHEN YOU WISH” has lovely hues and it’s waiting for you in our Etsy shop!

You can help HoofsNHorns rescue more deserving animals like Patches, LuLu, and Knuckles by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets. Cost per bracelet is $20. Bracelets make great gifts any time of year! The best selection is online via Etsy but in Tucson you can also buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center, Coyote Wore Sideburns Hair Salon, Tucson Rescue Now, Ever Evolving Exotics Pet Store, and Silver Sea Jewelry in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District (Silver Sea is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-6pm.)
