We’re taking our customary summer break during July and August, and our Etsy shop will be closed. However, in honor of our 15th Anniversary, we’re adopting the theme “Raining Cats and Dogs” and we’re partnering with PAWSitively CATS No-Kill Shelter and Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption group SA Greys.
Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption is a dedicated group of veteran greyhound adopters and volunteers, committed to seeking the very best forever homes for greyhounds in our care. They are non-profit and totally volunteer run, so every dollar goes to the care and promotion of the dogs. SAGreys has been finding forever homes for former racing greyhounds since 2012. PAWSitively CATS No Kill Shelter celebrates its 14th birthday this year, along with more than 90 cats waiting for a forever home or a sponsor. You can eat cake and purchase bracelets on Sunday, July 28th from 4-6pm at the wine tasting benefit at Arizona Wine Collective, or stop by the shelter at 1145 N. Woodland Avenue, Mondays or Saturdays 11am-2pm or Sundays 10:30-12:30pm, or by appointment.
You can help SAGreys and PAWSitively CATS rescue more deserving pets by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets at local shops and at special events each rescue group holds during July and August.
Cost per bracelet is $20, and they make great gifts any time of year! In Tucson you can buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center, and Silver Sea Jewelry in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District (Silver Sea is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-6pm.)
