Beading Divas January/February fundraising partner is Cherished Tails Senior Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit equine rescue organization located in Marana, Arizona. Cherished Tails rescues senior dogs (and a few cats) at high risk of euthanasia in shelters because of age or illness. They give sanctuary until these pets find a forever home, and hospice care for unadoptable animals. So far Cherished Tails has saved over 1000 pets. Meet another one of their rescues, Cletus:
Cletus came to us from Arizona Humane Society where he was at risk for an unresolving URI and poor dental condition. This cute guy dodged death twice, because he nearly died from pneumonia and microplasma after we rescued him. After almost two months of recovery and getting a dental cleaning and neuter completed he is finally healthy and happy and ready for his own home! He had lots of angels in his corner, including two vet techs who fostered him through his worst days. We are so happy for our miracle boy and that he is going to get his happy ending!
