End of the month shout out for our December bracelet fundraiser — Escalante Springs Rescue and Rehabilitation in Marana.
Escalante Springs rescue is a 501(c)3 charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of severely abused or injured equines. They provide EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) based equine therapy to many different groups — including but not limited to youth at risk and veterans.
Escalante Springs is dedicated to providing service to the community:
- They are a green facility and organically compost manure and provide it to community gardens and individuals at no charge.
- They host youth groups for educational, fun days with the horses.
- They are the community campus for Pima Medical Institute’s equine vet tech program.
- They are open to new ways to serve at all times. 501(C)3 # 45-4448225.
If you don;t want to buy a one-of-a-kind handcrafted bracelet, then consider sending them an end of the year tax-deductible donation.
