Milo is another Arizona Puggle Rescue success story. He is a Shepherd mix who formerly lived on the reservation and was brought to PACC highly emaciated.
He was so ill and malnourished that he didn’t even have fur. Looking at him you would have no idea he was even a Shepherd. We were notified by the general public that Milo was turned down by all the local rescues due to lack of funds and space. We jumped right in and pulled him even though we too were lacking the space and funds; but we always find a way
Milo was immediately taken to the vet where he was diagnosed with tick fever. After being treated for 30 days he began to get his fur back, he filled out from proper nutrition and gained his lost weight back. He has since been neutered, chipped, vaccinated and is in obedience training. He is an amazing dog and such a quick learner. He is already house trained, uses a doggie door and makes doggie friends super easy.
