Chili is a happy, outgoing 2 year old who had 7 fractures in his rear leg (a racing related injury). Dr. Goodman thought they would have to amputate, but instead was able to put “Humpty Dumpty” back together again.
He has had many bumps on the road to recovery, but has come out on the upside. He also developed MSRA at one point. Chili had multiple surgeries to get him to this point.
His bill has been very expensive…more than $6,000.
Hell yes!
This happy boy Chili behaves just like any 2 year old greyhound now and walks perfectly on his rebuilt leg. Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption believes that every greyhound should be in a forever home and that is why Beading Divas to the Rescue chose this charity for the month of December.
Just like the dog or dogs lying on your couch or your lap — Chili deserves his forever home.
During the month of December, all bracelet fundraising benefits broken leg greyhounds.
If you don’t want to buy a bracelet or three, consider making a direct donation.
