Support No Kill Pima County’s Life Saving Work for Pets

Posted in Fundraising

October and November bracelet sales benefit No Kill Pima County. NKPC is working to end the needless killing of shelter animals in Tucson and Pima County through rigorous implementation of the No Kill Equation, a life saving alternative that replaces killing. Read more about NKPC here: https://www.nokillpimacounty.org/.

Here are just a few of the many pets that NKPC was able to help in September. They each needed surgery to treat an urgent condition, and thanks to the support of our community they have been able to recover at home with their families. Barley had a rare fungal infection known as aspergillosis. Bowie had a toe and mass removed, as well as getting dental extractions done. Brandon had a urinary blockage that required surgery. Teca needed abdominal surgery.
Some people just need a little help, while others need the help of multiple organizations to make sure their pet gets proper treatment. We think they all deserve that opportunity and we thank all donors who are part of this community of caring. You are enabling us to support vulnerable pets and their families.

You can help deserving pets like these by purchasing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Beading Divas bracelets.

“Bijoux” would make a heartfelt gift for any animal lover!

Cost per bracelet is $20, with no tax. The bracelets make great gifts any time of year!  The best selection is online via Etsy but in Tucson you can also buy bracelets at Fuchsia Spa in La Encantada Shopping Center and Silver Sea Jewelry, in the historic 4th Avenue Shopping District. Silver Sea is open on Thursdays by appointment only (call or send a private message via Facebook), Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 pm (masks and social distancing required) and Sundays for live online shopping starting at 4 pm (MST). Bracelets are not for sale during live online shopping, but other fabulous jewelry is available.
