Forever Foster Covers Veterinary at Tucson Cares

Forever Foster Tabibi

Tabibi’s lacy eyes show his age and his tattered ears tell the story of struggling as an outdoor cat who is also a four paw declaw. Tucson CARES took him in from one of the many mobile home parks they conduct TNR in after learning that his caregiver passed away. He’s a senior with renal disease and is what is known as a ‘forever foster’ where he is in a home of his own, but Tucson CARES is committed to covering his veterinary care for life.

Tucson CARES has been instrumental in improving the quality of care and live release rate at Pima Animal Care Center (PACC). In 2014, they made history by installing the shelter’s first communal cat enclosures in order to save the saveable.
