Ironwood Pig Sanctuary
Yoda! Yoda! Yoda!

For the month of June 2012, Beading Divas to the Rescue are proud to sell our beautiful one-of-a-kind beaded bracelets for – Ironwood Pig Sanctuary in Tucson.

The Ironwood Pig Sanctuary (a 501c3 non-profit organization) is dedicated to eliminating the suffering of pot bellied pigs in Arizona and surrounding states by promoting spaying and neutering, assisting owners and other sanctuaries, and providing a permanent home in a safe, nurturing environment for those pigs that are abandoned, abused, neglected, or unwanted.

Eleven years ago they received their first two pigs and these pigs, Popeye & Claire, are still at the Sanctuary. Now there are almost 600 pot bellied pigs on the premises. Amazing! Thank you to Ben & Mary and all the dedicated volunteers, for all the work they do to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these animals.

As the month goes on, bookmark the site as we share some amazing pig rescue stories.

Now a word about the bracelets — handmade, one-of-a-kind, made with donated beads, one size fits most (coiled for easy on/off). Bracelets cost $20 – the entire amount goes directly to the Sanctuary.
