Bead Drive 2013 was a huge success. We would like to thank everyone who donated beads, large and small. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona won the random drawing and bracelets sales for April will benefit them. We always welcome beads, old beaded jewelry that can be taken apart, skinny ribbons (for tieing cards onto bracelets). Thank you
To donate beads, please email email@example.com and put “beads” in the subject line. Do not use all caps or else it will go into spam bin. You can also arrange for pick up or get your questions answered by calling 955-9061 (area code 520).
Or you can drop off beads at Silver Sea Jewelry & Gifts, 330 N. 4th Avenue (next to Bison Witches Cafe); 520-624-9954. Yvonne at CataVinos Wine Shoppe graciously still accepts beads at 3063 N. Alvernon Way (1 block south of Ft. Lowell); 520-323-3063.
In the blink of an eye — could this tragedy happen to you?
Miracles do happen.
Lizzie, Rider and Opal are battered, bruised and full of stitches but they SURVIVED.
Lizzie’s insurance will cover her medical bills but not those of her beloved canine companions.
We need your help to turn this tragedy into TRIUMPH.
So far, the cost to save Rider and Opal is $13,962.01. (Ouch! But animal lovers understand.)
Please join us in helping Lizzie pay her overwhelming veterinary bills.
