On May 26, Beading Divas to the Rescue Bracelets celebrated with more than one hundred of their friends and fans at Corbett Brewery. The event was a smashing success and co-hosted with Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption.

In the past ten years, dozens of talented volunteer Divas have handcrafted one-of-a-kind beaded bracelets raising more than $214,000 for mostly local to Southern Arizona animal charities.

Many thanks to the volunteers who helped put our event together; to the sponsors Corbett Brewery, Silver Sea Jewelry and A Tucson Tail; and to Jeffrey Mead for photography.

The original inspired music from The Unday band added the right amount of flair and fun.

Green Valley Paws Patrol won the random drawing to be our August fundraising partner. Congratulations!

Thank you to the following for their generous raffle donations:

Phyllis Schaefer, Nancy Lynberg, Rustic Candle, Chella Bella Designs, Gail Cohn, Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch, Mary Jo Pollack, Sandee Raven, Trader Joe’s/Swan-Grant, Anonymous, Karyn Zoldan, A Tucson Tail, Silver Sea Jewelry, Lizzie Mead, Angy Shearer, and SA Greys.
