Bridge Rescue for Dogs Tucson
Bridge saved Simon’s life

Beading Divas to the Rescue is excited to be fundraising for Bridge Rescue for Dogs during the month of September.

Simon was found as a stray with a carabiner hook impaled into his chest and dragging a chain through the hook. No one claimed responsibility for his injuries, and he languished at Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) for weeks as he recovered physically and began the emotional healing process after the torture he endured.

PACC staff contacted BRDG because they knew that Simon would not fare well long-term in the stressful, noisy and scary shelter setting. BRDG was up to the task and not only found the perfect family to adopt Simon, but also raised funds to enroll him in a 30-day Board and Train program through sol.DOG Services at a cost of $1,500.

Simon flourished in his training program. After graduation, he moved to his forever home with a fabulous adoptive family who loves him. While we will never be able to make up for the atrocious act he endured, Bridge Rescue is proud to have played a part in his successful recovery and are so very grateful to the donations that made his happy ending possible.
