will be your loyal companion

Beading Divas to the Rescue is honored to be raising funds for The Animal League of Green Valley (TALGV) which is a private, non-profit, all volunteer, no-kill organization serving the greater Green Valley (AZ) area. Their focus is to find new homes for cats and dogs whose owners are unable to care for them because of illness or other necessary lifestyle changes and for abandoned animals.

In 2012, 720 pets were adopted!

Their veterinary fees for 2012 was an astonishing $189,489 which includes in-house, spay/neuter clinics, medical outreach, and veterinary medicines.

On any given day the number of pets vary but on May 30, 2013 there were 125 cats at the TALGV shelter, plus 20 in foster care, and 33 dogs at the TALGV shelter, plus 21 in foster care.

As you can see TALGV is an amazing undertaking by dedicated volunteers. Follow them on Facebook.

Pictured above is Butchie who Butchie is a 70 lb. brindle and white Boxer mix. Butchie is a tall, playful hunk, with cute ears. He loves to catch his Kong, but also really loves just being stroked and cuddled. Butchie is house and crate-trained, loves car rides, and to go for long walks. Butchie has solar dermatitis and allergies, which requires him to be primarily an indoor dog. He will probably do best as an only dog. Consider adopting him as he would be your lovable and loyal companion. Butchie has been at TALGV since 8-5-2010.
