For the month of April, Beading Divas to the Rescue is selling bracelets for Rescued Helpers, Inc. located here in Tucson.

RHI has a two-fold mission. First they rescue German Shepherd Dogs and Labradors from kill shelters around the country, train the dogs, and provide dogs to veterans who are disabled, homeless, or who suffer from PTSD. Dogs become companion animals, therapy dogs, service dogs, or for security K-9s which mean the veteran and the dog have a purpose and a pay check.

Veterans can be trained to handle the dogs through Handi-Dogs which waives the training fee for vets.

Rescued Helpers Inc. does outreach for homeless veterans and kill shelter dogs.

The above is a photo of Little Bit who helps ex serviceman Anthony who suffers from PTSD. Little Bit demands that Anthony take the dog for a walk every day. They both found each other.
