Fundraising Bracelets for Tucson Wildlife Center

During the month of August, Beading Divas to the Rescue is proud to sell bracelets to help raise funds for Tucson Wildlife Center.

Sam the javelina was hit by a car in the Sam Hughes area of Tucson. Dr. Bill did surgery on Sam’s leg, and applied a cast. Sam’s head wound and leg have healed, and his cast has been removed. Sam has been integrated into a new herd and the herd will be released to a safe location.

In 1998, Lisa Bates rescued an injured raccoon and soon found that there were no services to rehabilitate it. Thus, the Tucson Wildlife Center was born.

The Tucson Wildlife Center became a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization  in 2000 and is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wild animals throughout southern Arizona.
